"The Wywies" is exclusively managed by Henry Property Services ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of our guests in accordance with the (Cth).

2. Information we collect
To facilitate your booking and ensure property security, we may collect:

• Personal Details: Name, email, phone number, and residential address.

• Identity Verification: Government-issued identification (Driver’s Licence or Passport) and, where necessary, biometric data (e.g., a selfie). We use secure third-party providers to authenticate your identity and check against the NSW Exclusion Register.

• Payment Data: Credit card details. Note: We do not store raw credit card numbers. All payments are processed securely by our third-party provider, Stripe.

3. Why we collect data
We collect this information to:

• Verify the identity of the primary guest (must be over 21).

• Comply with the mandatory NSW Code of Conduct for Short-Term Rental Accommodation.

• Process Security Bond pre-authorizations.

• Protect the property against fraud and damage.

4. Disclosure of information
We do not sell your data. We may disclose your personal information to:

• The Property Owner: For transparency regarding occupancy and for insurance purposes.

• Service Providers: Cleaners or tradespeople (limited to access requirements only).

• Law Enforcement: If required by law (e.g., NSW Police or Fair Trading) or in the event of a breach of the Terms & Conditions.

 
5. Data Security & Retention 

• Storage: Digital copies of IDs are stored using secure, encrypted cloud storage with restricted access.

• Retention: ID documents are retained only for the duration of the booking and a reasonable period thereafter to resolve any disputes (e.g., bond claims). Once this period expires, sensitive files are permanently deleted.
